NC Future Fuels is currently seeking investors to help move our technology to the next stage. We have a proven chemical process that can be scaled to millions of gallons of production at low cost. Currently we are working on developing a 30 gallon beta reactor to prove our small-scale chemistry in an industrial quality, automated reactor.
We would like to meet forward thinking investors who are looking to invest in sustainable, clean-tech solutions to our current and future fuel problems. We have a team of proven engineers and scientists. Biodiesel is a sector experiencing exponential growth; in the past five years national production has scaled from 500,000 gallons produced to over 450,000,000 gallons produced. Our technology can help move biodiesel from a fringe or specialty fuel of the environmentally conscious to a mainstream fuel that is more price competitive with petroleum diesel. Additionally, our technology can do so while utilizing waste streams rather than using virgin crops.
Our plans are to build a 1-10 million gallon refining facility in North Carolina using trap grease, brown grease, animal tallow, and municipal fats, oils, and greases from water treatment. Our market research indicates that there are nearly 30 million gallons of useable oil in North Carolina. Our experiments indicate that we can achieve nearly 100% conversion of oil to biodiesel.
Additionally we plan to build and sell smaller scale reactors to individuals, businesses, farms, and municipalities as a low-capital start to prove our technology. We have developed a low-cost automation system that can provide a much less labor intensive biodiesel conversion process. Currently we are working on building automated FFA testing equipment as well.
